I just saw this in another forum but check out this Robotic Dog that Boston Dynamics has created. Even when kicked it keeps it's balance. Not sure what applications this holds in the future but one is for the disabled or paralyzed and another is for places where it's too dangerous for humans to work or go to.

Anyway check it out as Robotics is really advancing.

yea, i am a bit freaked about it. lol might give me nightmares.

The applications for that are limitless. Space exploration, search and rescue, military, medicine, basic amusement...

I'd love to see a group of Iraqi insurgents reaction to 500 of these robots approaching them. I can definately see the military application to this, but I'm going to need therapy after watching the video.
