I have a cheap flat screen that is somewhat new, and it has a screen- saver option that has the fireplace, as well as many other scenes.

You do not have that?

No...not that I know of. We called the company (Panasonic) and they said we could either call our cable provider and see if they have a station that shows these scenes constatly, use a DVD or a screen saver loaded onto a memory card (because our TV has a bunch of memory/USB ports)... We just went with the DVD.

This would not be very suitable for a plasma screen. If someone thought it was good to leave it on all the time, it would probably burn in on sections of the screen. This is a gimmick type of feature you'd more likely find on Chinese branded products.
