Default Do u want NASA to aim for the Moon or for Mars ?

NASA announced that they will pursue plans for flights to Mars & not to the Moon.
Do u agree or disagree ?

Do u prefer exploration of Mars or a permanent Lunar base ?

I think we should look towards a permanent lunar base, followed by trips to Mars in future. But with this president, I fear that neither are in the future during his term in office.

Panel says NASA should skip moon, fly elsewhere.

WASHINGTON – NASA needs to make a major detour on its grand plans to return astronauts to the moon, a special independent panel told the White House Thursday.

Under current plans, NASA has picked the wrong destination with the wrong rocket, the panel's chairman said. A test-flight version of the rocket, the new Ares I, is on a launch pad at Cape Canaveral, awaiting liftoff later this month for its first experimental flight.

It could happen,in 30 years...

DanielWayne is on a distinguished road
I'd prefer Mars, but after listening to the news about Congressional budget cuts, I would be thrilled if we go back to the moon.
