i was just looking at the 12 live feeds that oil and gas is coming out like bat out of hell,, i revised my estimate to 96.230.75 bpd.. don't wory this oil gusher won't be stopping anytime soon.. this is going down as one of the longest news events in modern history, and i'm getting sick of it

bp has removed the cap, rov hit vent.!!!! i was just viewing live feed of cap stem and it looks like it has a big crack about 30 to 40 feet up stem, not sure but looked like a crack..?? cap is leaning about 10 to 15 degrees..
I'm with the earlier idea to nuke it - well maybe not nuke, but still one helleva bomb. I can't believe its gone this long and still hasn't been fixed. Stop messing around and try something else.
I don't think a 'real' solution will come until relief wells are completed. The primary focus now is limiting effects. And the 'innovators' showing their cheap oil-collecting products using motor oil as an example is pretty funny. The stuff in the gulf isn't motor oil, its pretty much Kerogen, right?

I can't believe that the government can build a missile that can accurately enter thru a building window when fired from a plane doesn't have some kind of explosive that will cause the well to collapse on itself. Or how companies can drop skyscrapers in the middle of a city with no damage to surrounding buildings and we can't stop the oil flow with an explosive.

yes it's amazing we can send rovers to mars and drill holes in martian rocks. we can ram orbiters into astroids, we can build 8 billion dollar LHC atom smashers. we can fly nancy pelosi around the globe in a single bound, but we can't even plug a darn hole.???? it makes me wonder how much longer we can survive as a species.!!>>> in geological terms not very long.
