I heard it was 60-70 a day or two last week, enjoy it!
It's almost time for the "Oh my god" peaches @ Sosio's in Pike Place. That's worth the trip right there. If you haven't had them - put it on your list of things to do before you leave Seattle. A MUST!!

Please tell me more! We're moving to to the Seattle area on July 10, and we'll be heading for Pike Place soon after. What makes these peaches "a must?" Do you happen to know the variety? Thanks!

Just keep checking Sosio's, peaches are a late summer thing, you probably won't see good ones till July/August.
Also immediately start checking out the Farmer's Markets around town. Seattle has some great ones.

Will do, Malarkey! Thanks for the link. I'll check out all the farmer's markets I can find.
Just one week until we shove off on our cross-country trek from Orlando to Poulsbo with our golden retriever in the back seat! My husband and I are very excited about our new home and can't wait to become permanent residents of Kitsap Peninsula. We've made friends with several of our new neighbors during recent trips to work on the house, and it already feels like home. Seems like a very friendly community.
Also, thanks PWright, for the fantastic pics! You are very talented--I love all your photos. You really capture the vibe of Seattle.
