Storm | Storm wins WNBA title | Seattle Times Newspaper

Quote:
Midway through the third quarter of Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, Storm star Lauren Jackson was scored on, stripped of the ball, then flung around like a rag doll.

The Atlanta Dream had taken the lead, to the delight of most of the 10,522 fans in sold-out Philips Arena on Thursday night.

But Jackson wasn't going out like that. No one in Seattle green was.

Sparked by Jackson's muscle and back-to-back three-pointers by Swin Cash, the Storm roared back to beat the Dream 87-84 to win its second WNBA championship.

The victory capped a perfect 7-0 run through the playoffs and a three-game sweep of the Dream.
The parade is tomorrow night at 7PM, followed by a rally inside KeyArena!

Non-story, pick the worst 12 players in the NBA, and they would be undefeated against the WNBA.

If you think I'm wrong you don't know anything about Basketball. Check out who Tennessee Vols practice with. How many women can dunk? Boys can dunk in Middle school.

Nobody thinks you're wrong. Do you really think you need to stand up for the athletic abilities of men? Do you consider the WNBA offensive or something?

You must be a lot of fun at parties.

"Hey, great bean dip! But, put it up against any crab dip, and it would pale in comparison everytime! Just sayin..."

Speaks volumes that he actually thought I was arguing the point. I know smarter stumps.
