Default Considering Kenmore or Bothell...What do you think?

I am curious about the towns of Kenmore and Bothell. We are moving to the Seattle area with our three young children so school districts are a factor in our decision. Any reason that the housing is cheaper in that area?
Thanks.

Those are good areas for families. I guess they're "cheaper" because they're further out from Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, etc necessitating more commuting.

Living on the east side a number of years I have heard the schools are very good in Bothell but do not know of anyone personally that attends school in this district. There is a website that you can browse and it's GreatSchools - Public and Private School Ratings, Reviews and Parent Community so you can see what parents' experiences are with individual schools which is really the most important way to find out about a school. I personally don't think a school should be judged primarily on test scores since that is not the complete picture of a school but that is just my 2 cents. Hope it helps and at least gives you a starting point.
