Default Kirkland Juanita

I wanted to know if anyone could tell me about the south Juanita area of Kirkland? I live on the east side and have heard to stay near the water but wanted to get some more opinions on this area. I am looking for a condo for my mom and this seems to be the best priced area for her since she has a limited income. I drove through and thought it was nice but that's all I know. I really don't know the real deal about this section of Kirkland. I already ruled out Kingsgate and Totem Lake because I particularly don't like those neighborhoods. All opinions are welcomed. THANKS!

Juanita proper (below the eastern side of Finn Hill) is similar to Kingsgate/Totem Lake IMO. The area I'm referring to is the area radiating from NE 132nd and 100th Av NE.

Juanita "junction" or the intersection of NE 116th and 98th NE is probably the area you should be checking out. It's the area around Juanita beach park. There should be lots of condos in the area. This area is a bit nicer than Juanita proper, IMO.
