The 3:30 Night Owls trips aren't that bad. The passengers are mostly early morning workers. The ones leaving downtown at 2:15 can be ugly at times.

I'll take your word for it and hope I never have to find out...

Folks, I just wanted to point out to the OP that they can get to the airport from downtown using public transit that early in the morning because that is what he/she asked. As I stated in my original post, it's a safe and relatively efficient trip that takes about an hour from downtown. That's pretty good, in my opinion, considering you compare the price ...$2.00 compared to about $30 +tip for a cab.

Yes, if I had to recommend taking the 2:15 a.m. night owl, then I might have second thoughts suggesting that but, as I say, the 3:30 a.m. trips have rather light passenger loads and are comprised mostly of those going to work early in the morning. There should be plenty of room to take some luggage and the bus drivers should be more laid back and more amenable to answering questions and helping an out of town visitor on those trips.

The downtown Airporter leaves from select hotels in Seattle, and runs 24 horus a day.
You don't have to be staying at the hotel to catch the bus there:
It's a straight shot to the airport, takes you to your airline.
