Hi all,
just a quick question. Could you please tell me the fastest way to go from Downtown to the Capitoll Hill/Portage Bay area?
I've already looked through the metro.Kingcounty.gow website., but I wasn't able to get any precise information.

Thank you in advance for your help.

A couple of Metro routes that get you to that area are the 49 and the 70. About a 25 minute bus ride from 3rd and Pike/Union downtown.

Thank you very much for your reply. The 49 and the 70 go to that area, but I'm looking for something a little bit closer to the Portage Bay area. Would you be kind enough to tell me the number of the bus you are referring to? I really appreciate it.

The 49 goes up Broadway and 10th Avenue East, so it would be the closest to the Capitol Hill/Portage Bay area, but you might have to walk a few blocks.

The 25 goes there, but I don't think there's anything there but some boats in polluted water and some rich people, is there? Here's the transit system map: System Map - King County Metro Transit
