Was wondering, aside from knowing someone who knows someone, what is the best way to job search? Newspapers, job sites, etc., and which sites/publications/etc are the best.

Is craigslist good for finding a decent job (office/administrative/accounting type)? Is there a specific seattle job board?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

For government jobs check this frequently:

http://www.awcnet.org/apps/jobnet/search.asp

We also have some open where I work, including one in utilities that ends today at portseattle.org

I'd suggest the Seattle Times website too, often people post jobs there that are not in the actual Sunday paper.

Check out the Mormon church(The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) they have employment services and will do everything they can to help you find a job Resume and coverletter reviews, mock interviews, etc. They will even post your resume everywhere according to your wants and experience. Alot of help they are. You don't have to be a member of their church either just give them a call.
