Volcanos: Yeah, we had one, there used to be a mountain called Mt. St. Helens. It doesn't exist any longer, -at least not the beautiful mountain it once was, but a mass distruction of thousands and thousands of acres. Mt. St. Helens was the small little sister of Mt. Rainer. Do you think Mt. Rainer is dead? Not according to the scientists from the University of Washington who are tracking it's activities every day. They are fearful that someday it will blow, just like her little sister, Mt. St. Helens. It's not a question of 'if' but 'when'. Mt. Rainer is so close to heavy population and industry, they fear it will be a national disaster. Every once in a while the news reports small quakes and steam immenation out of side of Mt. Rainer. When she blows it will wipe out and cover the whole area from Olympia to Everett, Seattle and Tacoma will be in the middle of it all. This is the most populated area in the State of Washington. And, then there is Mt. Baker. From time to time it is reported it too has small quakes and steam venting out of it, so it too is not dead. I haven't read any news lately about Mt. Adams but there has been reports of strange lights being sighted from it.:e ek:

moderator interpose: This thread is temporarily closed because it is drifting to the point where it's no longer addressing the opening post. We'd like to make two points at this time. 1. Please do not call other members trolls or accuse another member of trolling on the board. Our Administrator considers it a "personal attack" and can lead to infractions and suspension of posting privileges. Please report bad posts instead of calling out trolling or calling others trolls. 2. Again, please understand that unless there is some inappropriateness in a member's posting style, each member has the right to express their opinion. That opinion may not be accurate nor in any way represent the truth. However, each member has the right to express that opinion nonetheless. You are invited to politely post a rebuttal to a post you believe is stating inaccuracies or present your opinion on the particular topic being discussed. Please report posts that you might think violate our T.O.S. and state why. We also have the provision of using the "ignore" feature that the forum software provides. Thank you.
Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. It is free and quick. Over $68,000 in prizes has already been given out to active posters on our forum. Additional giveaways are planned.
