I was reading through other threads and thought this might be useful in some regard, if people want to participate.

This has to do with social perception more than anything.

If none apply, simply don't answer -- I'd forgotten to post an "N/A to any of these" option.

It won't let me vote because I don't agree with any of these.

Ya, I didn't find anything that applied to me either. Guess your just jaded by your situation? I have a full life with family, friends and recreation. There are a lot of great people around here, you just have to find them...or develop better social skills.

If people of a specific opinion don't appear in the results, what have you accomplished?

And the purpose of this poll is ...? Establishing a stereotype? Reducing what is ultimately a set of unique people in a unique place to a statistic?

I agree, not many options on this. It looks like a botched attempt, unless the guy was just trying to point out anti-social personality stereotypes.

This would make sense only if you knew what percentage of respondents checked what number of them. Perhaps take a class in statistical analysis.

I agree with only one, The problems we do have happen everywhere.

I liked where I lived before, but came up here to visit and liked it better so moved.

This is a strange thread and it seems to me that the poll doesn't seem to work in the locals' favor. As if it is designed to make the locals vote in a way so that the OP later can say: "You see, I caught you in your provincial-minded passive-agressive blah-blah-blah nature".

Are the options of the poll directly taken from the Seattle Freeze thread?

What's the deal?

moderator interpose: I agree. In addition, I can't see where this necessarily pertains exclusively to the Seattle area and if it does, directly reflects the "Seattle Freeze" concept. Again, we don't want a half-dozen threads simultaneously discussing the "Seattle Freeze" so this is closed. Feel free to pick up the discussion in the dedicated "freeze" thread. Thanks.
