Hello, I recently moved from WI to the Kenmore area.

I love the area, many say its one of the more expensive places to live, especially with wanting to buy a home people have told me of prices 500,000 on up (more on the up side)

Lake Washington is beautiful. I work in Seattle and when I drive to work, I drive past to where you can see the lake and when I drive home from work, I see the lake and the mountains too.

Ive heard Northshore School Districts are very good. My children have only been going to them since April 2006. So far I havent had any complaints about Kenmore Elementary. Not sure if its too soon to tell. So far I like the school and the teachers. Everyone there was very welcoming towards us and they helped us out allot our first few months of settling in.

I currently rent, I like it here but with the prices of homes, I doubt when the time comes for us to buy we would be able to afford a home in this area though. :-(

To me being in Kenmore is easy commute for me into work downtown Seattle. (traffic can be hetic but Im close enough to work and close enough to other things like stores, grocery stores, gas stations, resturants, outdoor type activities. Thats why I like it.)

Good luck with your search!

If you have any other questions although Ive only been here since April, feel free to email me at:

I will try my best to answer them.
