What is the cost of gas in Seattle today?

Thanks in advance!

Yesterday at Costco we paid $2.99, then I just paid $2.79 at the Issaquah Highlands Safeway for another car, but that was with a 30 cent discount. The regular price was $3.09. Here in Sammamish the Shell is $3.19, 76 is $3.11. Redmond is typically higher, for some reason, in Seattle itself the Shell I passed near work was $3.25.

Thank you all SO much!

DH and I have to take a trip to Seattle on Wednesday night to catch the three Mariners/Blue Jays games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We're in our RV, of course, and we wanted to know whether to buy our gas on this side of the border (Canada) or yours. Here, today, it's $5.40 a gallon CAD. Yours, it seems, averages $3.25 USD + 23% exchange rate, so it's still circa one-fifth cheaper than buying it here in Canada. IOW, instead of driving 800 miles on $400 of gas, I can drive 1,000. Happy camper here!

Blessings to you all,

Mahrie.

Correction, we tour in an RV, but yes, we're guilty of ignorance when it comes to gasbuddy.com. I believe in asking questions though, and thanks to you, I'm now educated in this most important matter!

Thanks for the heads up, mkarch; I appreciate it.

Blessings,

Mahrie.

Yes, gas buddy is a good source. But if you can find under 3.10 right now you will be doing good.

Anybody know why gas is remaining so high and continuing to go up in our area? The price is dropping in other areas of the country-- and last time (last winter) oil was at the price it is per barrel we were paying just barely around $2 per gallon. Is it a part of the shortage of California emissions refining chemicals that is causing prices to be high? (which I know is why it's so high in California right now)
