Hi,
We just moved to Issaquah about 2 weeks ago from the east coast. I have a couple questions about the area and hope someone can help me. We are looking for a casino to go to take friends of ours coming in from out of town. Which is the best and where is it? Are there any sports bars/restraunts around here. We are looking for a place to see some east coast games and get a bite to eat? Any help would be great. Thanks!! |

If you don't mind a little travel, Tulalip in Marysville is probably one of the top casino's in the area. Figure a 45 minute to one hour drive, but there is a great high-end buffet, full service restaurant, the outside is very beautiful with a killer whale sculpture fountain out front.
take a peak at tulalipcasino.com for more info. |

The Muckelshoots have a new building that's totally non-smoking. The old non-smoking area in the main building is nice, but this is better. My only complaint about the new area is it doesn't have video poker, just slots and table games.

For sport's bars, I'd suggest the Fox Sports Bar & Grill in downtown Seattle. It'll take you approx 30 minutes in non-rush hour, but it's very cool. You can google it to get the location.
Also, The Ram in University Village has a lot of sports screens. You could call ahead to find out if your teams are going to be featured. Of course, they won't make the cut if the Huskies are being televised at the same time, but many times there won't be a conflict with the early morning/east coast games. I'll ask a few of my friends for a good place on the Eastside. Check back in a day or two to see if I've found anything better. |

My co-worker said that the Rock Bottom Brewery in downtown Bellevue also has a big sports room section that's fun. That would only be 15-20 minutes from Issaquah.
