Must be gorgeous up there today. I'm looking at all of the webcams and can see the snow-capped mountains. In fact, it looks like there will be a few days of of at least partly sunny weather.

I am not really so much cranky when the sun is out. With me, however, it doesn't matter that much. Cloudy weather just doesn't get to me as much. However, hot, humid weather with the burning sun is what makes me cranky.

Heard the power went out (I still have a lot of friends on Facebook in Seattle)

Do you think it's going to be another Nov'06?

50+ mph winds last night/early AM. But the sun will peek out some today. I have a gazillion webcam and weather links on my computer. Weather is the only factor that keeps relocating to Seattle from being a slam dunk for me.

We had a pretty nifty windstorm. Cars crossing the 520 floating bridge were getting drenched with no rain because the wind was so strong it was blowing the lake onto the bridge. The Narrows Bridge in Tacoma briefly stopped accepting traffic. Power went out in a lot of areas (including where I work; apparently the new generators got their first live action). Fascia boards and signs laying all over the place, etc.

And, of course, Hose B just raked up my yard 2 days ago so that it looked all nice and pretty, so naturally now it looks like I haven't tended to the thing in months.

Yup, I'm home

I went to bed early, but I saw some lightning flashes up north and there was some pretty strong wind. I liked it--and I didn't lose my power

We broke a record high for the month of November earlier this month. Now on the news they are talking about the possibility of breaking a record low for the month of November. However, seeing as how the record low for November according to weather.com is 13 degrees (and even less in Burien, just to the south of the city limits where I actually currently live) I believe that they are exaggerating!
