Wow, thanks, Lovingthegreen! I figured that there would be quite a few vegan options in Seattle, since it has that kind of vibe. I'm just afraid that she would love it there and never come home.

Another school on her short list is the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. If she can get in there, it would cost a fraction of what SPU would cost, be 20 minutes from home, and still have a lot of vegan options, since AA is kind of a little Seattle in the Midwest, lol. Still, SPU looks like a terrific school for her, and they offer some majors that U of M doesn't.

Thanks again. I will save this list to favorites in case she does end up in your fair city.

And if your daughter ever changes her mind (college has a way of doing that to kids) wants to party occasionally, she can also easily get to Greek Row (UW frat parties are iconic). ha ha

And yes it is called pop out here too.
Yeah, but don't she dare get caught patronizing a tavern in Fremont or she'll get the boot. The 'Bohemians' of Fremont are definently frowned upon. It wasn't too many years ago co-eds were not even allowed to ware make-up, -don't even think about tatoos even now, 'Heavens to Betsy'!!!!
