Default FIOS in the redmond area

Quick question, I am going to be moving in to a rental in Redmond. When I went to check the Verizon FIOS site and put in a contact request. The response was from Frontier? What is going on with that? Is there a difference between getting FIOS from Verizon and Frontier. Also when I had FIOS out in VA I got it first for internet only, later I added on the TV/Phone but my Internet seemed to really slow down. Anyone out there have any experience on this?

Verizon doesn't operate landline phone or FIOS in WA anymore. Frontier bought Verizon's territory in the Pacific Northwest as well as some other places. As for your second question, when you get TV and phone through FIOS it shares the line with your Internet connection. Phone doesn't take much bandwidth but TV can cause slowdowns.
