Hi - recently moved to WA from SF-Bay Area absolutely love it. Temporarily have chosen to stay in Issaquah to get the lay of the land (it was a very quick move due to job) have enjoyed the area and the school my 8yo is attending but we are looking to move b/c of the educational needs of our son (looking into private schools for alternative educational environment) and feel its a little too isolated - major shopping and variety of restaurants all at least a 15 min. freeway drive away. The schools are good all over (compared to CA) but I hear that Bellevue (98004) is very good and centrally located to both good public schools as well as good private schools. Its early days yet but I know that my son will most likely need the intimate, individual student needs focus of a private school by middle school/high school. I also hear that Kirkland is great but I do not know anybody from that area. Any suggestions?
