Default No more pretty pics...What Seattle is REALLY like

Not to be a party pooper, but I have noticed an abundance of truly beautiful pics of Seattle on rare clear, sapphire blue sky days. Now, a dose of reality! I don't believe in false advertising, so here is what you can expect 9 months out of the year!

Default Incredible

Thanks for those shots. I know I could not live in a place that is so overcast like that for the majority of the year. Talk about depressing? Forget about it. This is one Californian who will not be invading the great state of Washington.

The grey days photo looks like it would be winter like weather until you see people without jackets. Looks to be a quality place too me.

More pics of winter please!

My Mom just called me crying because it is 110 (she lives Calabasas, Ca) and she is feeling really claustrophobic and scared b/c it is soooo hot. It's been like this all week. It said 115 when I got in my car the other day.

I welcome some drizzle and gray if it means out of this depressing heat.!!!!

She started researching rentals in WA this afternoon. She might be up there before me. = )

Default That's the Seattle I'm familiar with

While I have to give some other photographers here credit for their skill, your pictures more or less sum up the Seattle that I see most of the year since the day I moved here.

The only thing missing, is the "rotten tomatoes" Experience Music project/science fiction museum building at the Space Needle's base as seen from I-5. Notice how that's never really in the "scenic Seattle" photos, but you can't miss it whenever you head to the city from the north.
