Hi everyone! Please help. I am moving to Seattle in a little over a month. (I have several companies that are interested in me, but a transfer to Bremerton with my current company and new position at Virginia Mason in Seattle are the most promising.)

Anyway, I have been scouring the old craigslist, but can't seem to really get anywhere. If I find a good rental house, 9 times out of 10 the people usually don't respond back. And if they do there is some weird catch (like the house is on the market and they want me to show it for them or all of their belongings are left in the house and they want me to basically "housesit" for them, etc) I've tried google searches and cannot seem to find any good house rental listings. I've found about a million apartment, condo, and townhouse rentals, though.

So, long story short: Are there any websites where there is a good list of rental single family homes in Seattle (close to downtown)? Thank you in advance.

Probably the best way is for you (or someone you know and trust) to drive around neighborhoods you are interested in, looking for rental signs.
