Leave it to a Pittgal to know where the liquor store is. Another former Pittsburgher here...yes, I will find the liquor store. I remember when I was growing up (years ago), my Dad would go to the State store for liquor. That's how it is in PA.
As far as the Oklahoma reference (lived there for a few years) from PW72...the Only kind of beer you can get in the grocery store is the "low alcohol"...and that is not just on Sun. So you need to go to the liquor store in OK if you want to get the good stuff....they are always quite busy on Sat.
Well anyway, Cheers!

Oh and for Pittgal......"Go Stillers" ....(Pittsburghese for Steelers)...for you Seahawks fans.

Yeah sans..seems like there is a wine n spiritis on every corner in Pittsburgh and out here the liquor stores are hard to find! I do however love that you can get beer, wine, & mixers at the market out here..love that!!!

Yes, been up here three years (from SoCal) and it's still hard to get used to. The wife likes her tequila and I like vodka or Jager, but you have to get it early (the liquor store here in Milton closes at 8pm, even on Fri/Sat night) and NOT on Sundays... Still not used to just picking some booze up at 7-11 or the gas station mart.. They have opened a few places on Sundays, but not the one in our town..

And I do know of at least one more store in Tacoma, just down the street from the Mall..
