Default FEderal Way

I am thinking about moving to federal way in about a year. I want to move from Hawaii to seattle because of school. I am trying to finish college but it is hard for me to work and go to school so i plan on saving money then moving and just going to school. The reason i choose not to finish my college degree in Hawaii is because i can't find classes that fit in my 8-5 pm work schedule and it is so expense to live, I just need to live somewhere different since i've lived here all my life. I have an aunt in federal way so I was thinking about getting a place with her, my aunt to also new to seattle. So I want to know what is a good community college i should attend? I was thinking about highline community college? is it good? is there any community colleges i could dorm? i am currently working in the hotel industry, will it be hard for me to find a job in seattle? i really need some advise on what i should do.

I recieved my AA degree from Highline and enjoyed the different mix of people that attend there. I believe Green River community may have some dorms but I think they are for international students. I have never been to Hawaii but from what I have heard it is very nice.

Highline is a very good community college. I received my AA there in the 1980s and was recently back to see the campus and participate in commencement. I was impressed with the range of programs they've added as well as the staff. It's also one of the most comfortably diverse campuses I've been on.

I don't know of any community colleges that have dorm facilities.

If you work in the hotel industry, you should be able to find a job in Seattle. It might be a little tougher finding a job in Federal Way in that industry since there aren't as many hotels/motels in that area.

If you are in housekeeping, you might think about going to work at some of the hospitals in the area. Most of them have some sort of tuition reimbursement program that will help you pay for school. Also keep in mind that you'll have to pay out of state tuition until you have lived here for a year and established residency.
