Default Hotels near Woodinville

The Mr and I will be in the area on vacation later this year and want to be fairly near Woodinville. I was concerned that Trip Advisor reviews for the Residence Inn in Bothell mentioned numerous (whatever that means) car break-ins. Yet reviews of the relatively new Hilton Garden Inn in Bothell are quite positive.

Should we be concerned about staying in Bothell? (Clearly, I know nothing about the area...)

Thanks.

Residence Inn in Bothell is located in North Creek Business Park. It is a business park so there may be some break-ins if you leave items in the car and that is true of many places in the Seattle metro. It is very close to Woodinville, as in you could walk to the city line. The same with a hotel across the street there, Country Inn & Suites on North Creek Parkway. That is a small and growing business park, most of the travelers come in during the week for business so I could see them giving good weekend rates but it's not exactly a vacation feel there - you're in a business park. Hilton Garden Inn is on Bothell-Everett Hwy which is in a another business park area that transitions into an area that is pretty challenging called Thrasher's Corner. Not so good and not as close to Woodinville.

For vacation travel, I would suggest Willows Lodge in Woodinville. Very nice, near the wineries, much more suited to a memorable trip. Woodinville Washington Wine Country Lodge and Hotel

I agree with Seacove, but if you want something more affordable, Kirkland is close to Woodinville and has several
good ones like Marriott and LaQuinta without the worry about the car prowls.

You could also blow the budget almost as much as the Willows and stay on the lake at the Woodmark.

Willows Lodge is beautiful, and it has two fantastic on-site restaurants (Barking Frog and The Herbfarm, which is a destination restaurant and one of the finest in the country).

In addition to the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, The Heathman Hotel is just down the road in downtown Kirkland and is wonderful, as well.
