I have guests in town for one more day and am running out of ideas of what to show them. We spent the first night around the Redmond area, one day in downtown and along the waterfront, another touring scenic stuff on the east side and Bellevue downtown. They've been across the Sound on ferries before, and long ago they were out as far as Rainier and Snoqualmie Pass/Falls.

What else would you suggest? Thanks!

Lake Washington Ship Canal Locks. Grew up a ten minute walk away, was there all the time, and the place still fascinates me to this day. Afterwards you can walk the docks at nearby Fisherman's Terminal, or head into Discovery Park (Seattle's largest park, and a very diverse park landscape wise), or head on over to Golden Gardens if the weather is nice.
