Yeah, because of the diversity, that's it.

One of the more hilarious threads here was the "Gangs in Bellevue" thread. It was a while ago and my memory fades me, but I do remember the gang colors being mauve and taupe.

Of course. I lived in Everett for a time. From what I heard, the Russian mafia has a presence in Snohomish County.

Mauve and taupe!! Represent!

I do remmy that thread... the OP had a friend tell him/her that Everett was much more safer than Bellevue. I don't remember if I said it in that thread, but I'd like to try some of that crack. LOL. It has taught us there's at least one person in this world that believes that... hmm

My post was meant to be sarcastic.

Then what were you trying to say? It's hard for me to understand sarcasm when it's being typed.

There was a post from some time ago where a poster was asking why South King County has such a bad rep to a point where (some) people are actively discouraged from moving down there, but rather told to move north of Seattle. As if no crime (or "bad things") ever happens North of Seattle. One of theories often tossed out was because there's a lot of racial diversity (and really, there are people out there who think lots of racial diversity = higher crime) in S. King County-- which the OP of this post is shooting down.

I was trying to say the same thing. I was trying to say that bad things can happen North of Seattle.
