My family is relocating from another state to the Eastside this summer and are considering a home on Cougar Mountain. I know there is the large tower/antenna farm with various signals that can interfere with household electronics including TVs, WIFI, telephones, etc.

Are there any Cougar Mountain (or Lakemont) residents here who have experienced problems (interference, static, random problems) with their electronics? Is it a non-issue? Opinions from any Cougar Mountain residents would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

We lived in Lakemont for 2 years and never had a problem with anything. I never even heard any of my neighbors havang any issues either. It is a wonderful area!

Thanks for the reply. This 1991 newspaper article raised some alarms for me but I haven't seen any follow-up.

Any folks here lived near any of these towers before (within a half mile)?
