Default Fun Christmas activities to do with kids

I'm curious what Christmas activities are going on in the community that would be fun to see or do with kids. I've heard of the Santa Train in North Bend. Can anybody add more?

Don't forget about taking them up to Snoqualmie pass when it's snowing and getting pancakes at the Pankcake House up there, they are really good.

We do Candy Cane Lane in Laurelhurst - or which ever that neighborhood is by UW...it escapes me

Oh this says it's in Ravenna - well there you go...it's always so dark when we drive there I never even notice!

The Mexican tradition of lighting luminarios to light the path of the traveler around Green Lake is tonight 12/13/08 from 5 to 8:30. Very serene and beautiful.

The Bellevue Arboretum is supposed to be fun to see and we love ice skating at Seattle Center! Going to try Christmas Ships this year also. And we will go back to Snowflake Lane at Bellevue Square. My kids (now ages 5 and 8) loved it!

I grew up around Ravenna and we always drove through Candy Cane Lane... it's gets better every year. We took our kids on the Santa Train and it was fun for them.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Winterfest at the Seattle Center. The miniature version of Seattle with the trains are worth the trip.

If you can get up to Everett, the Olympic Ballet's version of the Nutcracker is wonderful. I took my daughter to that one every year, although at that time it was in Edmonds. It's a much more intimate setting than Pacific Northwest Ballet's show.

We just did the carousel at Westlake and plan on going to see the Gingerbread house this week. Also, I saw online that at the Seattle Center there will be a fire festival ( this Sat the 20th) so I think we will check that out.
