Yeah, I was just going to say the same thing ...I've been on Avondale when it's been backed up clear back past 116th NE and would take at least 25 minutes just to get from Novelty Hill Rd. to Union Hill Rd.

I guess it depends on the time of day. I usually am on the rode at 7am. Between 8 and 9 it sucks but yes only 25 minutes.

The traffic on Novelty Hill and Avondale has recently become much worse due to road constuction. They are changing the roads and intersections a bit - even supposedly adding a "round-a-bout" on the hill and have already added a lane to try to widen it in some places. I really don't like those round-a-bout things... but I guess someone thinks they might help? Evidently Quandrant/Weyerhauser were supposed to do the roads first before they built all the new development but for whatever reason they didn't...

I might just be a very slow driver, or perhaps not pushy enough, (i tend to wait rather than try to zoom around or through traffic) but I wish I could get through that area in only 25 minutes during the busy mornings, lunch hours and afternoons as schools let out and people are coming home from work. I did finally learn a back way the other day, though (go through trilogy and use bear creek road) but it's a way around... and you still hit avondale eventually... you can also cut through redmond ridge by way of redmond ridge rd. or cedar park crescent and go union hill...

Anyway you go though, you'll have traffic.
