Hey Ira,

St. Dames looks great! BUT, it looks like they are NOT open on Mondays!

They'd better reschedule that date

I'm impressed with the effort, but I have to say that the day sounds exhausting to me. Are you sure you're not coming on too strong? I mean, hopefully this isn't the first AND last date, right? Save some for later.

Women of all ages, love to know that you're interested in and care about her ... her likes and dislikes, her life, etc. So, showing her you've listened to what she's said on all the 'other' times you've hung out, is VERY important.

In every conversation, you'll hear something that will tell you who she is and what she's about, if you listen close enough.

Does she love animals? Cats? Dogs? There's a 'cat cafe' in Seattle, she may love that if she loves cats. that's just an example, but you get the picture, just zoom in to what makes her happy, secure, content and peaceful.

Just some thoughts from an old woman.

I love how the bunch of us chiming in are mostly older, been-there-done-that ladies.

As a woman in my mid-30s, I refuse to be an 'older' woman!

Trust me: As a guy in his mid to late 50's, a woman in her mid 30's is definitely not an "older" woman. An older woman is in her 80's.

Haha well thank you EVERYONE for your suggestions!

I don't want to go through the whole date...but... pretty much it ended VERY poorly. Quick run down, we got breakfast, checked out the EMP Museum, Space Needle, and the Argosy Cruise... and honestly we had an absolute blast. However, when the subject came up about us becoming a couple... well, it turned very odd.

She informed me she didn't find me attractive, now... hear me out. She find me very good looking and charming, however she only really likes Asian men. As a heads up, she and I are of European decent so we are PRETTY white. Anyways... I wasn't sure if she was kidding or not but she made it VERY clear she doesn't find white men attractive sexually. When I asked her why she even bothered going on a date with me, she informed me it was only "fair" to me because I tried so hard to be with her.

So yep. That is how it ended. Won't lie, I am a little upset about the situation but nothing I can do. Once again, thanks everyone for your suggestions, now I will have some really good ones when I date a woman who is a little less... strange...
