The best apartment resource -- and a good jobs overview -- is the combined Classifieds for the two largest local newspapers. The site is called NWSource.com. I selected the rentals for you to downtown and central Seattle, which has many neighborhoods, labeled on the map on that page. http://rentals.nwsource.com/rentals/...t=1&search2=No (broken link)
In apartments in Seattle, the renter almost never pays for water usage, sewage, garbage pickup. The renter almost always does pay for electricity, and if it's available in that location, natural gas; our electricity and natural gas are comparatively inexpensive.
Car insurance is generally based on the fair market value of your car, as well as the degrees and varieties of coverages you choose.

Not to be rude, but , if you have spent months narrowing it down you should be aware by now of the costs of living in the Emerald City...You take the good with the bad...Rogue

Are we talking city of Seattle or Seattle area? Most places in the area do make you pay water/sewer/garbage. At apartment complexes, that is.

I moved from Seattle to Florida and I can tell you first hand that everything is more expensive in Seattle than here in Tampa. And I just realiized you question is more than a year old.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and only pay electric. It's like $15 a month. Well, except my last one was $50 but that was during the Snowmaggeddon.
