Have to decide on a job offer at either place. Wanting to go to Issaquah because I am tired of Bellevue (worked here for 4 years), but wondering if I will be shooting myself in the foot.

Thoughts?

It won't be a shorter commute, but at least with Issaquah, you can get off @ exit 5 [i405] and go down on SR900 for a prettier drive.

True, but even 900 gets slowed down by heavy traffic at commute times. I would try 516 from Kent to 18, then Issaquah-Hobart road. Any commute from Kent to either Issaquah or Bellevue is going to be brutal, but 405 to 90 is the worst unless you can get on a bus.

that's what I thought... thanks... I'm going to try for Issaquah... it is way prettier and there's a good taco joint there. The location in Bellevue is on ne 20th with not much around. I'm over Bellevue.

There are all kinds of non freeway options getting from Kent to Issaquah. It'll still be a trip in the neighborhood of 45 minutes, but not sitting in traffic.

thanks! it takes about 45 mins with a carpool to get to Bellevue at present, so I think it is going to be similar.
