But Inslee was singing a different tune Thursday....
I will say that Gov Inslee has proposed the first non-regressive tax ever in the history of Seattle liberalism with his cap gains tax. Usually WA Democrats propose regressive taxes such as the gas tax, cigarette tax, sales tax, and so forth.

Nonetheless, I don't think it's a good idea to tax investment and resultant job creation. Hopefully the GOP-controlled Senate will put the kibosh on this. State spending per capita has doubled in the last 30 years or so.
