Oh, one more point on MS and commuting...
MS has flexible hours, so (and this will be dependent on your specific group needs and work flow) many groups are OK with people commuting during off hours, working from home in the mornings and coming in later, staying later, etc.

Depending on your job...
You may not be stuck in 'traditional' rush hour periods.
Honestly, the technology for us is such that being in the office is a necessity only for face-to-face meetings and perhaps getting away to the chaos of your own home.
Your mileage may very, however. If you're a tester, expect to be buried in your office cave most of the time.

I would advise on Redmond Ridge or Duvall. We live in Duvall. It is perfect family oriented community where kids play on the streets and cul-dacs. Several local parks and a riverfront where there lots of activites in sprign & summer. The crime is vey low to non-existent. Duvall is going much social & family oriented than the Ridge. It is a 20-30 minute communte to MS Millenium buidlings in traffic.
I would not advise on Snoqulamie as it much farther 20 minutes. I would say it atleast 45 minute commute in easy traffic alhtough it done with lots MSers living up there.
Duvall is much more affordable too.

Jenbar, the campus has always had a shuttle system to move people between buildings, but they recently started an actual bus system that has a much wider geographic scope. These aren't the little white shuttles you are used to seeing, these are huge, luxury charter busses. I doubt if it's actually door to door service, I would imagine they would be picking people up at park & rides.

Yep, I think that was brought up earlier in this thread, and after that post of mine. Looks like something new since we left.

Yeah the buses are called connectors. They have buses that go from the Totem lake area in Kirkland, Woodinville, and Seattle. The buses have wifi on them so you can get work done on your way to and fro.

Consider the Sammamish Plateu. What price are you seeking?
