Where will you both be working? That will help give us a better estimate as to what neighborhood would be best suited for you and your commute. One thing you will find quickly here is that, unless you have a high salary, it is really difficult to find a home that has great schools, safe neighborhood, and is affordable. The current housing market is insanely growing and getting a little ridiculous (there are a lot of discussions on this topic here), quickly making Seattle the next most expensive place to live.
Regarding housing, the income to rent/mortgage ratio is 28% of your income. At 75K that leaves you at $1,750/mo on rent/mortgage. There are plenty of people that live on your income here, but they live outside of Seattle and have a frugal lifestyle. Here's a look at rentals in Seattle:
