Clyde Hill is better than Kirk.

As others said, all schools on the east side are pretty good but Clyde Hill is one of the best.

I'd send my kid(s) there if I could.

Dan.

We have kids in Peter Kirk. It is a fine school. Like most schools on the eastside they are too focused on being arty and most of the teachers do not truly embrace STEM subjects. They make a great show of loving math and science , but they do not and they do not teach it deeply. If you want your children to "GROK" it you will need to dive in and cover important concepts .

Over all the schools are fine, you can use LWSD site to show you the boundaries and 'Redfin or such like the find the homes within those limits...

there are a handful of schools to avoid, but you will see that easy enough in the test results. You also might want to avoid schools where new MSFT hires flood in, there is a high degree of churn in those schools (Redmond/Bellevue near MSFT)

As far as I've heard, Clyde Hill is one of the best schools on the Eastside, and Peter Kirk is supposed to be not that great, as far as Eastside schools go...I've heard about bullying etc. Lakeview is supposed to be better.
However, Kirkland is more affordable than the Clyde Hill/ d/t Bellevue area, and imo is also cuter and more pleasant for living with kids. Downtown Bellevue is ridiculously expensive. I loved the Lakeview/ Houghton area of Kirkland, we stayed there in corp housing - I really wished we could've bought there but unfortunately housing prices were beyond our reach so we ended up all the way out in Sammamish.

Clyde Hill has very few rentals and those will be expensive. I have also heard good things about Lakeview. The physical building for Kirk is old and dated and recently it sounds like Kirk is getting crowded. I don't know, I just know kids and parents who were happy with the school. All these schools are in areas where the real estate is expensive and rentals go fast, so it is not always possible to have the luxury of being fussy about which school your child will attend. Ben Franklin (LWSD) in Rose Hill/Bridle Trails is also very good.
