Sort of like how it can be on the east coast/midwest? Rain showers with the temps in the 70s/80s.

Or if it rains in the summer, does that simply mean it'll be a cold pacific storm?

Yes, but it's rare. Our summer rain usually comes with a cold front. We had a couple of days last summer that were "east coast humid" but temps tend to be lower so it's not quite as oppressive as the 90 degrees and 99% humidity you get in other areas.

Sure, it CAN happen, but typically the months where we frequently get into the 70's and 80's are the driest ones.

See the table here: Seattle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For all the rain we get in the Spring, Fall, and Winter, we have real dry Summers. If it does rain, chances are that when it does it will cool a bit.

I wouldn't mind it, because I love those midsummer style thunderstorms and the warm air.

Thunderstorms are fairly rare here, and if it rains it's typically cooler. I think that's more East-Coast style summer weather.

Midwest summer. Perfect skeeter weather. Enjoy at your own risk.

In July and August, Seattle gets less rain than Phoenix. So once in a blue moon we'll get a warm rain in the summer, but mostly it's very dry here in the summer.

We rarely have any of that. Even when it's 'hot' here - you typically still get a cool, maritime breeze.

LA also doesn't get warm rain. The west coast is very different from the east.
