Default Seattle's First Hill

Just blocks from downtown Seattle, First Hill is almost exclusively apartments and condos. Just steps away from nightlife, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and bookstores. Also home to 3 major health care facilities, Harborview Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center and Virginia Mason Medical Center.

Interesting, I don't know exactly why, but some of these pictures remind me of Denver a little bit. Denver in the Spring, that is. We did have a clear day recently (last Sunday, if I remember correctly).

Fallingwaters, your comment is so interesting -- because many of these photos remind me of apartment-building-dense midtown New York City, many years ago, as being in First Hill always does! Small world, eh?

pwright1, thank you so much for these lucious, informative pix!!

pwright1, I always look forward to your photo mini-galleries. As someone who is gearing up for a relocation from Boston to Seattle later this year, it's a great way for me to see some "real" shots of our new city. Keep 'em coming!

It's funny, I lived on First Hill but can't recognize the location of most of those shots. Very pretty though.

It's one of the most affordable parts of town, sandwiched between Capitol Hill (which is more expensive but also more fun), and downtown.
