Maybe you could share some info. regarding how much your rent, deposits, & utilities cost, to give a frame of reference for others who are thinking of moving to Seattle. And, some info. re how you are getting around (public transportation, etc.)

Good for you annonymous0381. I admire your determination in making this happen. I like to live in different places, too, but as I age more it might be time ta just stay in one place for a while. Meaning more than one year in one place!

Yes. If one place in a metro of over 3.5 million won't hire you, no one will.

In LA I can't even get a job interview for $9 an hour.
I've been submitting resumes all over the country over the last few months, and I've gotten at least one interview offer from each city I've submitted to. Even a city like Las Vegas with a 7% unemployment rate.

The secret is all in your marketing pitch and how you present yourself; a well written introduction will get you further than a boring list of skills and tasks you've done at previous jobs.

I'm still living in Seattle. My apartment rent is $1200 a month for a one bedroom apartment in Northgate including trash and utilities.

I'm still employed.
