First, I am $#%$%#$ smart! I'm in my mid-thirties and like I earn more than any of my stepparents and they're frickin' old!
They are. Mostly, when I say something, people are like "whoa, that's hard to wrap my mind around, but such an amazing concept is bound to work!"
I have about a dozen unwritten novels that I'm just waiting for the right time to publish and you know what, I will pay my house off in 5 years. No matter where I live. I'm that good. I even have this degree that when, in my first day of class in college, I realized that my autodidacticism made me light years ahead of any of my professors. Yeah, I was correcting them and they even used to be afraid that I'd call them out, so they'd look sheepishly at me during lectures and encourage me to test out of their class with a 4.0 average early!
And I'm telling you all: What does arguing in a forum that's supposed to be about relocation going to solve? Practically speaking. Nothing. It's just the equivalent of writing crap on the bathroom wall and someone else writes something in return and you snort and say "nu-unh" and someone else reads it and thinks "what a bunch of 'nards" and that's cool.
By the way, were this midevial times, I'd be a fuedal landowner and a bunch of people would clean up after my sheep and I'd laugh, muahahaha. Because I am better than 99.77776% of the population (my opinion).
Anyway, here's what I have to say on the subject (please stay with me): The best time to buy would be when I am trying to sell something. Any other time, I couldn't give a rat.
The end.
Mod note: this discussion is no longer productive as much of the verbiage is starting to become personal attacks against each other. Plus, much of the arguing does not really have much to do with local issues anymore. Please take the discussions of basic real estate principles, investing, the stock market, etc. to the proper fourm. Thanks.
