Default Qualifications in Seattle-USA

I am going to college to do a course on plumbing and electrician, I was wondering how the hell do i get started on moving and everything to seattle, qualifications needed, anyone who can give me any help I would appreciate it alot. Like how much money would i need to last there without a job for a few weeks, Just starting from basics really, Thanks!

St.Croix to Seattle is on a distinguished road
As far as the Plumbing and Electrical look for programs that focus on Commerical first and residential second,as commercial work is in abundance,residential well is not so great,the basic principals of electricity and plumbing repair the same but commercial verses residential there are a lot of differences and you need to know about commercial especially until the residential market returns...good luck
