Black Lives Matter has to be one of the dumbest political movements in recent history. One my friends who is black told me personally that the movement embarrasses him as a black man.

No, instead he just shut it down by slinking away in a van to the Comet.

No different than O'Malley apologizing for saying white and all lives matter.

Both political parties are in a stranglehold by lunatic fringes, but I think the Democrats are in worse shape because their fringe is violent. Just look at the protests in Ferguson lately.

Debates shouldn't be about who is the loudest or most obnoxious... so let's capitulate to a mob that stormed the stage screaming "STOP BEING RACIST"? This is why I'm not a liberal anymore, I just can't follow this "logic".

The big difference is that the Democrats have been defined by their radicalist-driven movement leftwards for the past five decades. Then during the Clinton years the Republicans decided to marginalize their radicals and just hitched themselves to the coattails of Democrats. This is how we've ended up with our current political landscape: radicals on the vanguard (BLM now, formerly OWS), Democrats with their "no enemies to the left" doctrine unable to resist the leftward pull, and Republicans who are just Democrats from twenty years ago, all marching in lockstep towards a globalist neoliberal dystopia.

I (just) can't follow your (masked) logic, dubfan.

The point is that there are far more effective ways to resist situations like these without being loud and obnoxious. I'm not liberal. This is not even regarded as liberal logic -- it's just being civilized.

like most political discussions, you eventually end up at a wall where one person is too dumb to understand logic.

Again, this seems like a discussion of Seattle rather than of politics in general. An elderly self-described socialist politician was the target of Seattle's radicals, but the speech began with these Seattle specific words:

"Bernie Sanders, I would like to welcome you to this place called Seattle which is actually occupied Duwamish land, stolen and hypocritically named after Chief Seattle." As I seem to be the only one to transcribe even that much of the Senator's appropriated campaign rally, I'll defer to the Seattle Times :

"Marissa Johnson, one of the protesters, shot back, “I was going to tell Bernie how racist this city is, filled with its progressives, but you did it for me,” accusing the audience of “white supremacist liberalism.” She cited Seattle’s own police problems, including an ongoing Justice Department consent decree over use of force."

I already knew that Seattle was "filled with its progressives", but it took Marissa to open my eyes to Seattle's problem of "white supremacist [liberals]".

I'm sensing overexposure to The Evergreen State College.

Finally me, Marissa and Black Lives Matter campaign can agree on something! Maybe, a right-wing , freedom loving, G-d fearing , gun toting white skin pigmented conservative should join her movement. We both have something in common, we both hate all the white Seattle liberals..

BTW.. While they are mourning for Michael Brown, I will mourn for Darren Wilson who's life was devastated for simply doing his job of protecting the people of Ferguson who then threaten to kill him , ruined his career and life as we know it for doing such a deed. Not to mention they totally rioted and trashed their own city.

But, this is all the fault of white racist libearls!! Go Marrisa Go!! Go Marissa Go!! You Tell Em! Thanks for making my job easier
