with your work background, i think you'd probably find a job or jobs that net at most $3K. just speaking from experience, so i think $1500 rent is pretty unrealistic

RENT A ROOM !
I'm in Everett but I have 3 people still left in my family , my area is THE WORST ( casino road ) thank goodness though my daughter is in the Mukilteo area school part of it however we do live here. I work part time, husband is a 30 year long Airplane mech ( not an assembler he works on those in flight )They give me a discount , I guess from dodging bullets for the last 3 years . Anyway right now the rent here for a 2-1 is 1250 with my 30 or 40% survival discount ( I can't remember which )40.00 for parking and 100+ for utilities. The cable is stupidly high 177.00 so my husband can still watch the news back home in Europe , which I think he is FINALLY going to give up .I have managed to find a wifi hotspot near here so I am on that now.

Recently I received a letter stating they are raising it to 1500 . I have held them off until the end of the lease, it was imminent ( against the law) , I just haven't reported here on that but I am going to have to do something different . Food and gas are extremely high also and we take public trans with our Orca cards as much as humanly possible. If I were alone I would rent a room. It's the only way I can see with your resume that you are going to maybe be able to pull this off . We love it here but we aren't just loaded and have to really watch it .
