The microsoft shuttle does go to Duvall. It picks up riders at the Duvall Catholic church on Cherry Valley Road. You need to reserve a seat ahead of time, but it is free to employees.

Congrats to your hubby. We have been Duvall residents for 16 years and we love it here. Our children were raised here and it's a nice hometown. We have seen the commute traffic jump in the Novelty Hill area primarily due to the Trilogy/Redmond Ridge development without the necessary expansion of the roads to handle the increased volume. Avondale can be a parking lot at times. Still, I find that traffic in other eastside areas is far worse and I don't get stuck in it as much as they do.

We will likely put our home on the market this spring as my husband is about to retire and we will move to our home in Eastern Washington.

We would love to know about the place, the negatives like traffic and flood and about the downtown n all.Is Duvall town as good as Bellevue? How is the Public transit?IS there a MS connector frequently? What is your opinion about taking a home there?
We are eagerly waiting for your comments..
I know it's been awhile since you posted. But i thought i would give you some information as my sister lives at the Novelty-side of Duvall. The bridge that connects Novelty Hill Road to Duvall will at times get flooded due to heavy rains and melting snow going into Snoqualmie river. But, I hear that sometimes you can drive towards Monroe, or toward Carnation and there are other options to get across the river. Duvall is very different from Bellevue. As Duvall is more like a town, and Bellevue is called the 2nd City. Bellevue is a lot more "city". Duvall has a very neighborhood, "town" feel. There is a MS connector. Not sure of frequency. My sister has been trying to get me to move to Duvall for the last 5 years. She has acreage and likes the school her kids go to. The homes look nice and the schools also seem very nice.
