I think most women are going be wary of m4w seeking platonic friendships and just assume that it's a guy looking for a girlfriend or a hookup. That and it's a very dry generic post, nothing about your personality.

There's a site with local meet ups, delineated and sorted by hobby/interest. I'd also recommend book discussion groups if you like to read- libraries have them.
