Pemco. One of the best but they do have high standards.

We had State Farm in CA and kept it here, at about half the price. It's affected by crime and traffic, among other things, and we went from the Bay Area to Sammamish. Seems like Whidbey should be even lower with so much less traffic. Maybe they start over and don't factor in your longevity with the company in another state, like ours did.

I also just moved from SF bay area and also have State Farm. When I gave a local office my Tacoma Address, I was quoted a price $50 higher for the same policy I had in CA.

For now, I still have CA coverage

Did you also get their homeowner insurance, for the multi-line discount? We even got earthquake, which cost much less here for a bigger house. I can see the price going up if someone had both in CA and then rented here. We currently pay about $600 every 6 months for 3 vehicles, all with full coverage including collision, comprehensive and uninsured motorist.

No H.O insurance. I rent for now until I decide where to live permanently. I have pretty much EVERY discount I can get with State Farm and have the same comp/ collision, Roadside, Uninsured motorist and 80% rental car coverage.

I have 2 fully covered cars with $50k/$100k/$50k, 1 Antique car, $50K Property and pay only $160 a month for all that through my California policy

I dont understand how you can continue a policy in another state.....laws are different state by state and Ive been told by several agents that they don't write policies for Washington including my current one in CA.

I had Mutual of Enumclaw, good rates and they handled both an auto and home claim quickly and professionally.

Very interesting, my State Farm policy is 40% less here than in Texas. Interesting that rates in CA are so low.

We live down in Portland and have Geico insurance. Been with them many years and no problems our rate doesnt seem too bad and we just bought a new car. We also have renters insurance with them. Right now only 1 vehicle. We had All State but the rates kept going up. and we had zero accidents or tickets.
