I wanted to add links for our favorite:

Geraldine's Counter

We really love this place, and the owner is just awesome (he's always there on Sunday when we go).

Unfortunately CJ's doesn't have a website.

Zeena's on Madison Street across from Swedish Hospital is also very good...Used to be the sister restaurant to CJ's when both were called AJ's.

AHHHH We were just at Sweedish Med Ctr. this morning on Madison. We'll have to try there next weekend when we go back!

Default Couple of suggestions

Peso's on Lower Queen Anne. It's a meat market bar/restaurant by night, but they serve a wonderful, Mexican-inspired breakfast.

Also Mae's Cafe on Phinney Ridge (65th & Phinney). Kitchy cow-dominaed decor, with sensational homemade biscuits and green eggs & ham.

Ate there today; had the Bacon, Egg & Arugula Sandwich. My wife had the Emerald Scramble. Good food, friendly atmosphere - thanks for pointing this place out. It was quite busy at 11:30ish, but we were seated in less than 15 minutes.

Oh, I totally forgot about these local chains... each city, (Issaquah, Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, Mukilteo and Mill Creek) all have one.

For example the one in Mill Creek is called, "The Saw Mill" or something... then going down the other way of Bothell-Everett Hwy, on the right is Bothell's version... Crystal Creek Cafe. Woodinville is The Woodinville Cafe.

The Redmond one is by Hancocks Bakery.....

Mukilteo is The Speed Way.

Best pancakes I ever had in my life is the Original Pancake House on 15th Ave NW in Ballard!!! Other breakfast items are delicious as well. And great service!
