Do you think the ecoterrorism arson in Seattle was a fluke?
I wonder why the ecoterrorists have picked Seattle to make a point. Seems awful fishy to me.
I'm glad those 5 homes weren't occupied. I hope they catch those guys again before they torch a 2 million dollar home with people inside.
Funny thing is, torching a home creates greenhouse gasses. Seems sort of idiotic to do that, wouldn't you think? I mean, it's idiotic anyways. Counter-productive..ah that's the word I was looking for.

My guess is that the terrorists live close by... and I wouldn't call Quinn's Crossing "Seattle"; the site is in Snohomish County.

These homes were sitting unsold for months, costing the builder lots of money.
Yes, I'm paranoid but just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they're not out to get you.
If the builders paid an arsonist to burn these places down, would they leave a note saying
" We did it. Signed, The Builders." ?

Now that's an interesting thought I suppose.
When I first heard about this, I assumed the houses where the ones for the upcoming Street of Dreams this summer, but you are right - the homes (all still unsold - and priced at up to $2 million) are from LAST year's Street of Dreams.
I'm sure investigators (including the FBI) will consider that possibility.

Well, Seattle is known as a haven for "eco" type folks, so we do have our share of such people with pretty strong views. Are they really the ones that did it? Beats me.

It does seem a little suspicious now that you mention it.

If it was in fact ELF, I think it is shameful what they have done. I support their views on mcmansion developments, but physical destruction is not the correct way to get your message across.

This is only one of a few ecoterrorist plots by the ELF targeting a Seattle location. Wasn't the UW a spot recently? I would have to google... I don't remember the details. Oregon and Seattle are havens for the ELF, ALF, etc. Very radical groups in these two states....
I heard on one of the news sites that it was for the "Street of Dreams" so I don't think it's "homes sitting around unsold for months"... everyone has been reporting that they were still underconstruction...

No, I just watched the noon news here in Seattle and they were indeed the Street of Dreams homes from LAST year and were indeed sitting unsold.
Here's the local news:
