The pop machine mystery is not as exotic of a story as Amelia Earhart's, yet still kind of weird. We could just let it rest as "unsolvable", eh?
I actually watched that documentary yesterday! What started as background TV noise ended with me in front of the TV for the show's entirety. Awesome.

As for the soda machine I NEVER knew about this and I live around the corner. Can't wait to show this off to visitors. Keep the mystery alive, indeed. I'll report back with what mystery soda I get.

Thanks everyone! No offense to the Market or the Space Needle et al, but when visiting cities I enjoy and do like to check out the off-the-beaten-path quirky kinds of places.

I don't know, Erik, it's a sweet hotel. If you wear your "paranormal investigator" lab coat, you might frighten the well-heeled hotel guests .
